Fahrzeugtechnik Dessau develops designs and manufactures prototypes and
small series of railway carriages, wagons, and special vehicles including
testing and commissioning.
In the development and design department for the rolling stock, some 50
highly qualified and experienced members of staff work at 2D and 3D workstations.
Applying the know-how and many years of experience in the field of rolling
stock production, innovative and customised solutions are developed to
satisfy every customer wish.
Our production department for rolling stock employs high quality machinery
for precision cutting, forming and mechanical processing, thereby ensuring
that high standards and short delivery times are maintained. For the various
welding processes, the technical and personnel requirements are fully
met and all the requisite aptitude certification for aluminium, steel
and stainless steel to hand.
Where required, Fahrzeugtechnik Dessau can assume responsibility for the
complete project, from the development, production and assembly stages
right through to commissioning the complete vehicle and providing spare
parts and maintenance services.
